బహు భాషా కోవిదుడు, రచయిత, స్థితప్రజ్గ్నడు, భారతదేశాన్ని అగ్ర దేశాల సరసన నిలబెట్టిన మన పి వి గారు స్వర్గస్తులై నిన్నటికి 8 సంవత్సరాలు నిండింది. ఒక్క దినపత్రిక కూడా ఆయనని గుర్తుపెట్టుకోలేదు. చాలా బాధాకరం. ఇవ్వాళ మనం అనుభవిస్తున్న ఎన్నో సదుపాయాలకు ఆయన శ్రీకారం చుట్టిన ఆర్ధిక సంస్కరణలే కారణం.
నంద్యాల ప్రజలు ఒక తెలంగాణా వ్యక్తిని ప్రధానమంత్రి అభ్యర్ధిగా రికార్డు స్థాయి ఆధిక్యంతో పార్లమెంటుకు పంపి తమ ప్రేమను చాటుకున్నారు. పార్టీ పరంగా తెలుగు దేశం కాంగ్రెస్కు వ్యతిరేకమైనా, యెన్ టి ఆర్ గారు తమ అభ్యర్ధిని నిలబెట్టకుండా సాటి తెలుగువాడి ఉన్నతిని కాంక్షించిన ఘనత దక్కించుకున్నారు అన్నగారు. కానీ మన విభజన వాదులు, భా జ పా అభ్యర్ధిగా లక్ష్మణ్ గారిని నిలబెట్టి పరువు తీసారు.
తెలంగాణాకు చెందిన వాళ్ళు చాలా తక్కువ మంది ముఖ్యమంత్రులైనారు అని గొంతు చించుకొనే వాళ్లకి సమాధానంగా నంద్యాల ప్రజలు ఏకంగా ప్రధాన మంత్రి అభ్యర్ధినే ఎన్నుకున్నారు. మీరు హన్మకొండలో ఓడించిన ఓరుగల్లు ముద్దు బిడ్డని గుండెల్లో పెట్టుకున్నారు. 5 లక్షల ఓట్ల ఆధిక్యంతో "గిన్నీసు రికార్డులలో" నిలిచిన పెద్దమనిషి మరణాంతరం ఆయన సేవ చేసిన పార్టీ వారే చిన్న చూపు చూశారు. సమైక్య - వేర్పాటు హోరులో, భిన్నత్వంలో ఏకత్వం చాటిచెప్పిన పి వి గారిని స్మరించుకోవడం మరిచాము.
The reason PV chose Nandyal constituency in 1991 because, during 1991 election PV already resigned from politics and did not contest in elctions. First phase of elections happened before Rajiv's death and TDP sweeped in whole telangana. In seemandhra elections happened after the death of Rajiv and Cong won some seats due to sympathy factor, nandyal was one of them.

Before that when he has become CM of AP it was andhra politicians who were instrumental in dethroning him within one year with a fake agitation called Jai Andhra.
The irony is that a telanganaite can become PM of India and rule for 5 years but no telanganaite could ever rule the state as CM for more than 1 year.
PV was also elected from Ramtek in Maharashtra, Berhampur in Orissa, don't use your typical Telugu jathi card for electing a person who was already a PM.

I consider PM post is much bigger than CM post.
I prey the God, state should divide at the earliest after resolving issues like Hyderabad, water distribution etc., and all Telugus should unite irrespective of any state u reside.
- Now the time is crossed. It is of no use now to make telangana leader as CM and allow him for 5 years or any other solidarity move as it will be just an eye wash to ease the movement. That solidarity should have been shown long back which was not done.
తొలగించండి- The current Jai Andhra agitation is different from the one in 71. Current Jai Andhra agitation is on the merits of Andhra and the advantages of Andhra when divided while the previous one was on the basis of stopping justice to Telangana by obstructing mulki that is uphelded by Supreme court, stop implementation of land reforms about which PV was stubborn. The later reason was the primary reason and that's why they were particular in removing PV from CM post.
- All issues can be resolved once the division is agreed. Bigger disputes between countries have been resolved. But if leaders are only deceiving people with their two eyed theory, escaping tactics and try to use Telangana for elections but change voice after elections uncertainty will continue.
-By the way Samaikyandhra JAC meetings will never have attendance more tahn 10 people but all seemandhra new papers, channels show it as big event. Attendance for Vasanta's Jai Andhra meetings is usually bigger than Samaikyandhra meets.
